I am a small in-home papillon and yorkie dog breeder. They are raised in my home, not in kennels. My little 'fur babies' are playful and loving, and they will come, having their first shots,...
First, the cost involved in raising puppies has increased,
and in order to continue doing what we love, we have to make
adjustments as needed. Secondly, we have finally recognized
more and more that it is ok to ask the price that a puppy
is worth. It has been difficult in the past to ask a higher
price because we "feel bad" and want to be accommodating
to new puppy owners. We still do! But we recognize
that we must have the opportunity to ask the price
that our puppies are worth - for their own excellent quality,
the time, care, and commitment that we put into raising each puppy,
our dedication to ensuring the best of care for the parents,
and providing the best possible living quarters and play
areas for our dogs and puppies. Lastly, it is our
duty to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and beauty of
our dogs' and puppies' living quarters.

BREED INFO"Papkies" (Papillon/Yorkie mix)
Description:
The "Papkie" is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Papillon and the Yorkie. The large ears can either be erect or dropped with rounded tips. Coat color on a mix can almost be anything, popular colors are Black and Tan or all tan with some cream markings but can also be silvers, white with patches of any color.
Temperament: This mix is known to be a friendly, intelligent dog that is tougher than it looks, and loves outdoor exercise. This is not only a charming little dog, he is playful, lively, amusing & animated. Affectionate, gentle, patient, and proud, they love to cuddle. He enjoys a good romp outdoors. They are steady, obedient and are not yappers. Papkies can be trained to perform small tricks. Good with cats when they are socialized with them. They are in general easy to train otherwise.
Size/ Height:Both males & females can be 6-11 inches
Weight:Males can be 4-11 pounds
Females can be 3-10 pounds
Life Span: Some as long as 16 years.
Grooming:Because of the mix, most Papkies do not shed. But also do not grow long hair coats quickly. Usually at most needing groomed only once per year if a short hair cut is preferred. If hair is kept long regular brushing is needed.
We do NOT allow potential buyers to see our puppies until after they have received their first vaccine, usually at 6-7 weeks of age. This is for the safety of the puppies. It has been our experience, and also with guidance from our vet, that this is the best way for puppies to be quarantined from diseases and parasites.
Our puppies also go to their new homes with a puppy pack. The pack includes a folder which contains all their health and vaccine records, registration papers, Belles Beautiful Butterfly's contract and health guarantee, and new puppy instructions and helpful information. Your puppy will also come with some special goodies such as a blanket, a favorite toy, etc. Each pup will also come with a small bag of the food they have been eating.
Please don't forget to read my Contract.... Thanks!

MY DOGS LIVE HERE
My dogs live here, they're here to stay. You don't like pets, be on your way.
They share my home, my food, my space, this is their home, this is their place.
You will find dog food on the floor, they will alert me, you're at the door.
They may request a little pat; a simple "no" will settle that.
It gripes me when I hear you say, "Just how is it you live this way?"
They smell, they shed; they're in ...the way... "Who asked you is all I can say...
They love me more than anyone, my voice is like the rising sun, they merely have to hear me say "C'mon it's time to go and play" Then tails wag and faces grin, they bounce and hop and make a din. They never say "no time for you", they're always there, to Go and Do. They share my bed when it's time to sleep, happily, not making a peep.
Fast asleep and warming my feet. Unconditional love can't be beat. And if I'm sad? They're by my side and if I'm mad, they circle wide. And if I laugh, they laugh with me, they understand, they always see. So once again I say to you, come visit me, but know this too... My dogs live here, they're here to stay. You don't like pets, be on your way. They share my home, my food, my space, this is their home, and this is their place.
A Breeder (with a capital B)is one who thirsts for knowledge and never really knows it all, one who wrestles with decisions of conscience, convenience, and commitment.
A Breeder is one who sacrifices personal interests, finances, time, friendships, fancy furniture, and deep pile carpeting! She gives up the dreams of a long, luxurious cruise in favor of turning that all-important Show into this year's vacation.
A Breeder goes without sleep (but never without coffee!) in hours spent planning a breeding or watching anxiously over the birth process, and afterwards, over every little sneeze, wiggle or cry.
A Breeder skips dinner parties because that litter is due or the babies have to be fed at eight. She disregards birth fluids and puts mouth to mouth to save a gasping newborn, literally blowing life into a tiny, helpless creature that may be the culmination of a lifetime of dreams.
A Breeder's lap is a marvelous place where generations of proud and noble champions once snoozed.
A Breeder's hands are strong and firm and often soiled, but ever so gentle and sensitive to the thrusts of a puppy's wet nose.
A Breeder's back and knees are usually arthritic from stooping, bending, and sitting in the birthing box, but are strong enough to enable the breeder to show the next choice pup to a Championship.
A Breeder's shoulders are stooped and often heaped with abuse from competitors, but they're wide enough to support the weight of a thousand defeats and frustrations.
A Breeder's arms are always able to wield a mop, support an armful of puppies, or lend a helping hand to a newcomer.
A Breeder's ears are wondrous things, sometimes red (from being talked about) or strangely shaped (from being pressed against a phone receiver), often deaf to criticism, yet always fine-tuned to the whimper of a sick puppy.
A Breeder's eyes are blurred from pedigree research and sometimes blind to her own dog's faults, but they are ever so keen to the competitions faults and are always searching for the perfect specimen.
A Breeder's brain is foggy on faces, but it can recall pedigrees faster than an IBM computer. It's so full of knowledge that sometimes it blows a fuse: it catalogues thousands of good boning, fine ears, and perfect heads... and buries in the soul the failures and the ones that didn't turn out.
A Breeder's heart is often broken, but it beats strongly with hope everlasting... and it's always in the right place! Oh, yes, there are breeders, and then, there are BREEDERS

1. My life is likely to last 10-15 years. Any separation from you is likely to be painful.
2. Give me time to understand what you want of me.
3. Place your trust in me. It is crucial for my well-being.
4. Don't be angry with me for long and don't lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your friends, your entertainment, but I have only you.
5. Talk to me. Even if I don't understand your words, I do understand your voice when speaking to me.
6. Be aware that however you treat me, I will never forget it.
7. Before you hit me, before you strike me, remember that I could hurt you, and yet, I choose not to bite you. 8. Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I'm not getting the right food, I have been in the sun too long, or my heart might be getting old or weak. 9. Please take care of me when I grow old. You too, will grow old. 10. On the ultimate difficult journey, go with me please. Never say you can't bear to watch.
Don't make me face this alone. Everything is easier for me if you are there,
because I love you so.
~Take a moment today to thank God for your pets. Enjoy and take good care of them.
Life would be a much duller, less joyful experience without God's critters.
